Five O Land Unites Global Music Legends – New Single Featuring Guitar Icon Jennifer Batten and TVOF Winner Mikko Sipola!
Finnish duo Five O Land is making waves by bringing together legendary musicians from around the world. Their sound fuses classic rock and pop with funk, soul, and R&B, creating a fresh yet timeless vibe. Friday, September 26, they release their third single, "Call for a Revolution", featuring guitar virtuoso Jennifer Batten — known for her legendary work with Michael Jackson — and Mikko Sipola, winner of the first season of The Voice of Finland (2012).
Founded in late 2022 by songwriter/producer Janne Hyöty and entertainment producer/songwriter Niklas Rosström, Five O Land is all about connecting global talent and returning music to its roots. Their latest single takes that mission further with a powerful, timely message.
"We wanted to reflect the world as it is today — turbulent, unpredictable, and in need of change," says Rosström. Lyricist Geir Rönning adds, "The revolution in this song isn't just political — it's about transformation in many areas of life." A music video will follow on Friday, October 3, adding a visual punch to the track.
When asked to join, Jennifer Batten, who played on all three of Michael Jackson's major world tours, immediately said yes. She also stars in the upcoming video, partially filmed in Barcelona. "All I can say is: respect! An amazing song with a very relevant message," Batten says.
Guest vocalist Mikko Sipola was equally inspired. "I felt an instant connection and thought, this is incredible—to work with such amazing musicians," he shares. "It even gave me a little Toto vibe—I just had to be part of it."
Five O Land continues to prove that when talent from across the globe comes together, the result is nothing short of revolutionary.

Showcasing yet another shift in musical direction, the track "Call for a Revolution" is strikingly relevant to the times we live in. Featured on guitar is Jennifer Batten, renowned for performing on all of Michael Jackson's world tours, while Finland's first-ever Voice of Finland winner, Mikko Sipola, takes the lead vocals on this release.

The band's first single, "Take These Walls," is being released. It is written by Hyöty & Rosström together with Geir Rönning. The Norwegian artist Kim Rune Hagen is the lead vocalist. Hagen also features on several songs on the upcoming album, "Back To The Gold," which will be released at the end of 2025.
